ITSC director discusses ocean observing at @GCOOS RA fall meeting

ITSC director Dr. Sara Graves attended a meeting of the Board of Directors for the Regional Association for the Gulf of Mexico Coastal Ocean Observing System (GCOOS-RA) in St. Petersburg, FL on September 15-16. The Regional Association (RA) Directors and colleagues discussed issues such as the re-authorization of the ICOOS Act, priority gaps in ocean observations, the private sector impact of ocean observing, and more. Dr. Graves is an Outreach and Education representative to the Board and also serves as First Vice President. This travel was funded by GCOOS.
