Amy Lin

Biography

Hong Lin received her B.E. degree from Tsinghua University, China in 1988; M.E from Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1991; Ph.D. from Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and M.S. of Computer Science from University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) in 1996 and 2006 respectively. She joined UAH in 2005 as where she is currently a Principal Research Scientist at ITSC. At UAH, Dr. Lin has worked on a wide variety of projects, including remote sensing data processing and analysis, document indexing and retrieval. She is also a part-time instructor for the Department of Computer Science, has been teaching Linux Programming courses of both undergraduate and graduate levels since 2006.
