John Beck
Biography
John Beck, a Principal Research Scientist IV with the University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Information Technology and Systems Center (UAH ITSC), has over twenty-seven years of experience working with geospatial and remote sensing technologies. Prior to his employment with UAH, Beck served eight years as a Geospatial-Intelligence Analyst for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. From 1997 to 2007, he was employed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Auburn University. He is also a retired U.S. Army Reserve Officer where he served as an Engineer Officer for over 21 years. Beck currently manages several Geospatial Technology-related projects funded by NASA and DIA.
