Dr. Ramachandran's GLIDER workshop
The videos are downloadable .wmv files. There are 5 tutorial videos:
- Video 1: Setup and Calibration: This video describes how to setup GLIDER and the steps involved in calibrating a MODIS HDF-EOS file using this tool.
- Video 2: Using Image View: This tutorial describes how to use Image View within GLIDER to visualize the data.
- Video 3: Using Image View Plots: This video describes how to use the plotting features available within the Image View.
- Video 4: Using Image Analysis and Clustering Algorithms: This video describes how to use the Image processing and unsupervised classification algorithms within GLIDER.
- Video 5: Using Earth View: This tutorial describes how to visualize the data on a 3D globe using GLIDER.
Dr. Ramachandran's GLIDER workshop
Dr. Rahul Ramachandran put together this GLIDER tutorial for a workshop that he presented at NTU and NCU, Taiwan, 2010. The tutorial goes over five learning modules of increasing complexity.
